Thank you for considering donating your durable medical equipment (DME) to REquipment. Here, your equipment that is no longer being used can find a second life and make a big difference to the well being of another person or family.
What you need to know:
REquipment accepts DME that is gently used and generally less than five years old. Equipment should be in good condition or easily repaired. Exceptions may be made with regard to age or condition of the equipment if it is in high demand, of high value or unusual to access. Types of DME being accepted at this time include power and manual wheelchairs, scooters, kneeler walkers, sling lifts, tub/shower chairs, portable ramps, adapted strollers, rollators, standers, and specialty cushions/non fabric mattresses. REquipment encourages donors to arrange drop off at one of our 4 reuse centers or drop off centers. Reuse partners can pick up devices in their geographical area if it meets our requirements but this may take 2-3 weeks due to demand. You will be asked to sign a Donation Receipt Form that confirms you own the DME and have the right to donate it. We are happy to provide a donation receipt for tax purposes upon request.
If you have DME you’d like to donate to help someone in need, you may
