Karen is the Founder and President of REquipment, Inc. Prior to starting REquipment in October 2015, she worked for 38 years in state government working to develop and implement programs and services to support people with disabilities and their families in the community. She was instrumental in starting both housing and assistive technology programs while at MRC and EOHHS.
She began her interest in DME reuse in 2012 while working with representatives from state agencies, disability organizations and DME vendors to address the needs of people who use mobility devices having difficulty getting timely repairs. Her vision is to expand DME reuse and include AT devices as well. She has a MEd in Rehabilitation Counseling. Karen lives in Methuen with her husband. She has 2 grown children and one grand child.

Jennifer joined the REquipment, Inc. staff in late February 2017 after more than thirteen years with the New England Assistive Technology (NEAT) Center at Oakhill in Connecticut. Jennifer was instrumental in the formation of the NEAT reuse program in Hartford thirteen years ago. As result, she has extensive knowledge of inventory management and DME recycling. At NEAT she worked her way from scrubbing commodes to coordinating the provision of AT at all seven of the Oakhill programs. Along the way, she completed a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and acquired certifications as an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS).
Jennifer is looking forward to finding ways to make REquipment more efficient so that more equipment can get to more people more quickly. And she’s excited by the program’s long-term mission to expand and provide not only DME reuse but also a broader range of assistive technology. In addition to knowledge of seating and positioning for mobility equipment, Jennifer has a wide knowledge of assistive technology. In Connecticut she has a private consulting business providing AT assessments for PT and OT needs within home and work environments.
Jennifer continues to live in Connecticut with her husband and two sons, but she grew up in Richmond, Massachusetts where she still has family.

Prior to joining REquipment in April 2018, Dan worked for 12 years coordinating operations at a local DME provider. He has experience as a delivery technician, facilities manager, customer care and retail manager. A man of many talents. He is a RESNA certified assistive Technology Specialist as well. Dan will handle equipment donation requests and outreach to potential sources of bulk or on-going DME donations.

Ginny has spent 18 years in the disability field, working with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Disability Policy Consortium where she has coordinated and organized advocacy. Since January, Ginny has been researching and developing marketing and outreach lists for REquipment. As on August 2017, Ginny will handle equipment requests and continue to assist in developing our outreach lists and mailings.
