Our mission is to improve the independence of individuals with disabilities through access to free gently-used durable medical equipment and assistive technology. Donated devices are refurbished and provided free of charge to elders, veterans, children, and adults with disabilities for use at home, community, school and work.
Our values are those of the Independent Living Movement. We are guided by the principals of consumer choice, consumer control and the right to fail. We believe the individual knows best what their needs are and how best to address them.
We provide access to information to assist in making an informed choice. Occasionally we recommend consulting with a professional on selecting a customized piece of equipment such as a power wheelchair.
We value the feedback we receive from both donors and equipment recipients. Your input helps us know how we are doing and what we need to do better.
