Donate Your Equipment

12/04/2024
Our storage space is full! REquipment cannot accept donations of durable medical equipment (DME).  We predict we will accept them again in January or February. We do still accept donations of assistive technology devices. Thank you for your ongoing generosity and understanding.

Your donation of durable home medical equipment or assistive technology can transform a neighbor’s life. To get started, complete this online donation form or call customer support toll-free at 1-800-261-9841. You may also email info@dmereuse.org. We may request you provide pictures of the items you wish to donate.

We accept devices that are gently used and under five years old. Exceptions may be made if a device is in good condition, in high demand, of high value, or unusual. View the list of device types that REquipment currently accepts for donation.

We require donors to confirm ownership of any device they wish to donate. Because REquipment, Inc. is a nonprofit, you may request a donation receipt for tax purposes.

Once a device is approved for donation, we schedule a time for donors to leave it at one of our drop-off locations. Drop-off locations in Salem, Worcester, E. Bridgewater, New Bedford, Amherst, and Pittsfield are available by appointment. If necessary, our driver can come to collect (larger items only). Due to high demand and limited staffing, our pick-up service can take two or more weeks. Learn more about our statewide pick-up and delivery options.

Thank you for caring for your community!

Testimonial

A smiling woman stands behind a large man seated in a power wheelchair in front of the doors to a brick building.“My experience with the non-profit organization, REquipment, has been nothing short of miraculous. They are transforming lives in such a profound way, that I find myself singing their praises to anyone who will listen! I applaud the positive impact they are making on the community and encourage anyone with extra medical equipment to DONATE!”

— Kate, a Supportive Services Coordinator

“Please accept my thanks for providing me with a life-changing power chair. It is a wonderfully engineered and constructed masterpiece. I had been using a manual wheelchair that was ill-fitted, causing me pain and discomfort. I feel stronger and safer.”

— Mike, Kate’s client
