Thank you for donating your gently used, durable home medical equipment (DME) and assistive technology (AT). Our program relies on you! Learn the donation process. Our staff is also happy to explain the process when you call.
Once approved, DME and AT may be dropped off at a donation drop-off site (by appointment). If necessary, we will arrange to pick up donated DME. Due to our high number of pick-ups and deliveries, picking up may take two or more weeks to schedule. Please note that we cannot pick up smaller AT items unless they are donated with a larger piece of equipment.
Once you request a device from our inventory, we will contact you to discuss options for acquiring it. If you need your device quickly, we encourage you to pick it up (locations vary). We will schedule a date with you to ensure your equipment is accessible when you arrive.
If picking up is not feasible, we can arrange for delivery. Due to high demand and our limited number of drivers, scheduling may take two or more weeks. Please make sure that your delivery location is accessible. REquipment drivers, for their safety, are not permitted to carry power wheelchairs, scooters, lifts, etc., up or down stairs. We charge $20 to offset delivery costs. This delivery fee may be waived for hardship.
At your request and expense, REquipment will mail smaller devices via FedEx. Shipping costs should be considered when ordering a single smaller item. Smaller items may also be delivered with larger devices or picked up in person from partner reuse locations at no cost.
When you acquire your device, you will sign a receipt after inspecting your new-to-you equipment. We also ask that you complete a consumer satisfaction survey so we can know how we are doing.
