Pick Up and Delivery
Pick Up of Donated DME
During the pandemic we are not allowing drop offs. We will contact you to arrange a no-contact pick up.
Thank you for donating your gently-used durable medical equipment to REquipment. We ask that donated DME be dropped off at a reuse partner or donation drop-off site. If that is not possible, we will arrange for pick up. However, due to the number of pick up and deliveries that we handle (and a limited number of drivers), it may take 2 or more weeks to schedule.
Keep in mind that we must approve donated items and we require that you sign a donation release form. Our staff is happy to explain the process when you call.
Delivery of Requested DME
During the pandemic we are not allowing pick ups.. We will contact you to arrange a no-contact delivery.
Once you request a device we will contact you to discuss options for obtaining the equipment. We prefer if you can arrange to collect it from where it is stored (with a reuse partner). If that is not possible, we will arrange to have the device delivered to you. Due to the high number of pick up and deliveries and limited staff, it may take 2 or more weeks to schedule and a small delivery fee will be charged (unless waived for hardship). You will also be required to sign a release form and encouraged to complete a consumer satisfaction survey.
Keep in mind that your delivery location must be accessible. REquipment drivers, for their safety, are not permitted to carry power wheelchairs, scooters, lifts, etc. up or down stairs.
