The REquipment Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Reuse Program is looking for donations of gently-used medical equipment. If you have a power or manual wheelchair, scooter, sling lift, tub or shower chair, adapted stroller or stander, rollator (walker on wheels), portable ramp or a similar device that you no longer need, please consider donating to REquipment. Last year we refurbished and gave away over 600 devices to persons with disabilities of all ages. (Learn more about what REquipment accepts.)

“The Hoyer lift saved our backs. This program has been a big help to our family. My husband is paralyzed due to cancer complications and the equipment we have been given has been a big help for us.”
— one recent REquipment program user
Help us get the word out! To inspire people to donate their unused medical equipment, REquipment is sponsoring a device donation drive this spring with Independence Associates, the independent living center serving the South Shore. We are currently looking for additional organizational partners and volunteers to sit on the Equipment Drive Planning Committee. If your organization is interested in becoming a co-sponsor or a member of the committee, please email Karen Langley at klangley@dmereuse.org of REquipment (call 508-688-9599) or Bill Shine of Independence Associates at wshine@iacil.org (call 508-583-2166). REquipment Drives are usually held on a Saturday and are always a lot of fun.
Have equipment to donate right now? Terrific! Lives are changed for the better when gently-used medical equipment finds a new home. Complete the online Donation Form and we will contact you. Or call 800-261-9841 and we can help you complete it over the phone. If we accept your item, we will discuss pick up or drop off options.
